OUR APPROACH
Convening: The Zero Malaria Campaign Coalition is a platform where all malaria stakeholders converge, fostering creative communications and advocacy to advance Kenya's zero malaria goal.
Galvanising: We are not just a coalition; we are a movement. By incorporating diverse partners, especially from the creative, media sectors and celebrity ambassadors, we tap into the vibrant energy of, particulary the youth and popular culture to amplify our message.
Amplifying Opportunities: Under the "Zero Malaria Starts with Me" campaign, we coordinate and amplify the efforts of all our partners. This holistic approach means our collective impact is much greater, harnessing resources to bolster the work of the national malaria programme.
HOW WE WORK AT THE ZERO MALARIA CAMPAIGN COALITION
Communications Sub Committee: shapes public perception of malaria. We synergize with media, creative sectors, talent, and influencers to create impactful communications that spotlight malaria as a deadly, yet preventable and treatable disease. We champion the "Zero Malaria Starts with Me" campaign, propelling malaria messaging into the public conscience.
Resource Mobilization Sub Committee: works to address the critical issue of policy frameworks and sustainable finance in the context of malaria control and elimination, recognizing the crucial need for effective coordination and resource mobilization among county governments and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
Advocacy Sub Committee: Under the ZMCC, the Advocacy Sub Committee spearheads targeted efforts to drive national and county-level commitments towards malaria elimination.
